Defending champions Argentina will take on Switzerland in the quarter-finals of the FIFA World Cup 2026 on Saturday (11 July).
The Argentines have twice come close to elimination at this year’s tournament, reaching their second consecutive quarter-final after dramatic comebacks against Cape Verde (3-2) and Egypt (3-2) in the round of 32 and last 16, respectively.
